BABUSKINA is an independent jewellery atelier in the Swiss Glarus Alps. Each piece is designed and handcrafted by me in very limited quantities—for women who value individuality, quality and quiet luxury.
What shaped your approach to jewellery?
I bring 18 years of practical experience in the jewellery industry to BABUSKINA. Over time, I have developed a trained eye for proportion, materials and the subtle details that make a design feel balanced and distinctive.
What makes BABUSKINA different?
I follow the evolution of fashion without copying trends. Every design must have its own identity and remain recognisably BABUSKINA.
There is no mass production. Some pieces are entirely unique, while others are created only in small editions. Natural pearls also ensure that no two creations are ever exactly alike.
How do you select your materials?
I source high-quality freshwater pearls and natural materials from specialist suppliers around the world. Each element is selected for its lustre, shape, surface and character, then combined with 14K gold-filled or sterling silver. Selected pieces can also be made in solid gold on request.
I choose materials for their beauty, quality and longevity—not for artificial perfection.
Is BABUSKINA only for weddings?
No. Bridal jewellery should continue to be worn long after the celebration.
A necklace chosen for a wedding can later be styled with a silk blouse, a simple dress or an everyday look. Each piece is designed to accompany meaningful occasions without being limited to a single moment.
How do you define luxury?
Luxury is not about an inflated price. It is about thoughtful design, exceptional materials, skilled craftsmanship and rarity.
