BABUSKINA is an independent jewellery atelier in the Swiss Glarus Alps. Every piece is designed by me and handcrafted in very small quantities – for women who value individuality, quality and quiet elegance.
What shapes your work with jewellery?
BABUSKINA is shaped by 18 years of hands-on experience in the jewellery industry. Over this time, I have developed a refined sense for proportion, materials and the details that make a design balanced and distinctive.
What makes BABUSKINA special?
I follow the evolution of fashion without copying trends. Every design is intended to have its own identity while remaining unmistakably BABUSKINA.
There is no mass production. Some pieces are true one-offs, while others are created only in small editions. Natural pearls also ensure that no two creations are exactly alike.
How do you choose your materials?
I source high-quality freshwater pearls and natural materials from specialist suppliers around the world. Every element is selected for its lustre, shape, surface and character, then combined with 14K gold-filled or sterling silver. Selected custom pieces can also be made in solid gold on request.
I choose materials for their beauty, quality and longevity – not for artificial perfection.
Is BABUSKINA only for weddings?
No. Bridal jewellery should be worn long beyond the wedding day.
A necklace chosen for a wedding can later be paired with a silk blouse, a simple dress or an everyday look. Every piece is made to accompany special moments without being limited to a single occasion.
How do you define luxury?
Luxury is not about paying an inflated price. It is about thoughtful design, distinctive materials, craftsmanship and rarity.
BABUSKINA stands for conscious luxury: exclusive, lasting jewellery at a fair and carefully considered price. It is created for women who know their style and choose something special for its character – not for a visible status symbol.
Every piece is made to become part of your story.
